Alchemy Sharpens SBIR Focus With Award-Winning Advisors
Washington, DC—April 14, 2009. Alchemy Government Solutions announced today that it is expanding its capacity to help SBIR companies win Congressional earmarks for their projects with the addition of Jeff Bond and Linda Whittington as advisors.
“I’m delighted to have Jeff and Linda join us in this advisory capacity,” said AlchemyGS president Alan Dillingham. “Both are strong champions of SBIR companies and committed to their success. They both understand the valuable role that Congressional funding can play in helping SBIR Phase II companies successfully cross over the ‘valley of death’ into Phase III.”
Jeff Bond is former SBIR/STTR Program Administrator for the Department of Defense. In that capacity, he was responsible for the overall administration of the DoD SBIR and STTR Programs with a total combined expenditure of more than $1.1 billion. In his long and varied federal career, he has managed contracts sponsored by DoD, BMDO, Army, and DARPA. During his tenure with the federal government, Mr. Bond received Vice President Gore’s Hammer Award (April 1999) and the SBIR Tibbetts Award (2001).
